Our visit to Jack's Brasserie on the occasion of my birthday on January 2nd was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that impressed with excellent quality, outstanding service and a pleasant atmosphere. The starter, the Swiss beef tartare, was an exquisite start to the evening. This was finely tuned, fresh and accompanied by a generous portion of toasted bread slices. A detail that is often neglected in many other restaurants, but has a special meaning for me. (I prefer not to ask questions.) The main course, Jack’s Wiener Schnitzel with alumettes and cranberries, was a highlight. Perfectly cooked, golden brown and tender. Certainly one of the best schnitzels I've had to date. The side dishes complemented the dish ideally, neither too rich nor too sparing. To finish, I chose the mango-passionfruit sorbet, which was refreshing, although without any unexpected surprises. Sometimes less is more, and in this case that motto was completely true. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service from Larissa, whose attentive, professional and charming manner made the evening an even more enjoyable experience. The manager also impressed with his always polite and friendly presence, which further enriched the overall experience, especially given that the restaurant was busy that evening. The highlight of the evening for me was the unobtrusive birthday gesture. Instead of loud “Happy Birthday” singing, which often seems more unpleasant than celebratory, we were presented with a cake, which I then took home with me. Exactly my taste. Conclusion: Jack’s Brasserie offers a perfect combination of culinary excellence, first-class service and a welcoming atmosphere. The evening was completely satisfactory and definitely worth the money.
