Pasta buonissima , insalata fantastica ma soprattutto il tutto condito con tanta gentilezza e cortesia dal personale . Responsabile di sala fantastico, malgrado non avessimo prenotato , e parliamo di domenica a pranzo, si è adoperato per trovarci in tavolo . Esperienza positivissima. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came here on our third night in Palermo. We have enjoyed our trip very much up until visiting I Pastari. From the outset the staff were very rude and somehow became increasingly intimidating as the evening went on. For one the staff didn't seem to want to have any customers at their restaurant at all, they wanted you in and out as quicky as possibly. Secondly, following a miscommunication due to the language barrier the staff bumped into my partners chair "accidentally" on three occasions. It could have been a coincidence, but equally that seems extremely unlikely. No sooner had we arrived, we wanted out, but due to the staffs seemingly neurotic need for an extremely quick turnover, and not actually wanting our custom at all, our food arrived extremely quickly - which you could argue is a good point... I feel we would have been justified not paying at all due to the deeply unpleasant experience entirely down to the attitude of the staff, but we parted with our money in any event entirely due to not creating any further negativity. Avoid this place at all costs, unless you fancy an evening of being snarled at and harassed in the name of making a quick buck. Two stars for the food because my pizza was tasted, my partners carbonara which way too cheesy and very heavy going to eat. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
