Editing, since Hotel Laura staff has comprehension problems and i cannot reply: Dear staff, this is for other people, to let them know your utter lack of humanity. This was clearly not about money, but about your lack of empathy. You could go around criticising me about not carrying 4 euros cash, i criticise you because that put your entire operation upside down, apparently. Other guests, look at how Hotel Laura replies (bullyish i'd say) to negative reviews, this seems to be their practice to deter them. Edit 2: hahahahha they actually edited two times, once with grammatical errors, and both of them with lies. You're tripping if you think i gave you "fake reviews", any person with half a brain cell can tell you're just trying to bully me and other negative reviewers away. I'm not scared of a Google translate capable 1-star hotel owner. Good day! Left after 15 minutes! Horrible experience. Souless receptionist, can't say anything without the boss' aproval, and the boss is only available in the mornings. After we had a 6h long trip here, she only talked about the city tax, CASH only. There was no mention about this cash only shenanigan on the reservation - and to be clear, we stayed at 2 different hotels before, both accepted cards. She was adamant about this as well. She told us there is an atm about 30 minutes away BY BUS, lol, and to bring it in the morning. I told her i would bring it in the afternoon, so i won't ruin my day on bus trips, but she did not flinch with this request. She was adamant we needed it in the morning, not the afternoon. Your tax problems are not mine, dudes. No humanity, for FOUR EUROS Also, when we told her we only had a card and no cash(multiple times, she understood perfectly), she started explaining to us what an euro looks like. This prestation is below any hospitality i've ever been to, and the fact that she didn't see us as humans but as some random money throwing machines says a lot about the people that work here. Also, on a random note, the shower is only a hose above the sink, i found no mention of this in the booking.

She only got angry because we asked her for €4 in cash for the tourist tax (a service for the municipality of Cavallino Treporti which we prefer to be paid separately so as not to lose out on further taxes by paying by credit card. In Italy if you he doesn't know we have so many taxes). we also told her that she could pay it the next day with peace of mind so what was the problem? the ATM is a 10 minute walk away. She reacted with unprecedented malice and all these fake reviews testify to it. Remember that people are not stupid, by reading they will understand that you are in the wrong and that the reviews you are giving are false. Best regards. We could say the same thing about her, about her shocking rudeness. Maybe you have some problem: did you start crying for €4? After we simply told her to wear them the next day with peace of mind? Each hotel decides for itself: we have to pay the tourist tax in full and if you pay it by credit card we are taxed. Large structures may not have this problem, but we do, a small family business. It's mind-blowing to go around the world without any money. And in any case the ATM is 2 minutes by bus from the hotel and 10 minutes on foot, perhaps she misunderstood because of her incredible anger. And it's true, the new receptionist is still learning and for difficult situations like she created she has the order to call us, I don't see where the problem lies. And in any case in 40 years of opening, know that you were the only one to complain about paying a few € in cash for the tourist tax despite all our willingness to pay even the next day. As far as practicability is concerned, she could very well look at the location on google maps; you are so young but very inexperienced, you need to learn how to travel the world. Congratulations.
