Vedere il Maritime Museum richiede tempo e fatica, perciò se dopo dovesse prenderti fame, vieni in questo ristorante per un pasto saporito. Gorgeous historic property, beautifully restored and maintained. Enchanting decor inside and out. We enjoyed the fragrant fruit trees and flowers in the courtyard, pool and lobby. The restaurant is excellent. 5-star breakfast and dinner. Service is fantastic. The rooms are large and clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. They take care of every detail. Excellent location across from the Marina, close to beaches and restaurants and a half an hour walk to the old town. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

We opted to not be in the sometimes overwhelming hubub of Old Town which was a good choice. This quiet hotel is located an easy drive and 30 min easy walk from the center of Old Town along the Marina. The room was very comfortable, nice bathroom and very clean. The windows opened onto the hotel square. Hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious whether dining in the dining room or outside on the gorgeous patio (that was the best). They have a spacious upper deck to sit on with comfy chairs and couches. And welcoming seating areas to sit and read or be on your computer inside the hotel. Good restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel along the Marina walk (check out Orson's) and the hotel also has it's own restaurant. Great spot to stay in Dubrovnik! Service: 5

I am tempted to give Hotel Kazbek a one-star review, because if I did you might not compete with my wife and me to book a room for our next trip. We wish it could be our little secret. We stayed there for 3 days in September 2018 before taking a Mediterranean cruise, and 5-1/2 years later the memories remain pleasant and strong. As others have said, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the outdoor areas—pool, courtyard, and terrace—are relaxing, the service is outstanding, and the food alone would be worth the trip. It’s far enough from the Old Town that you aren’t caught in the crowds when cruise ships totaling more than 1500 passengers are in port. It’s close enough that the bus is a convenient and easy way to get there in the evening or in time to enjoy it before the cruise crowds arrive. The only problem with the meals was that they were so good that we could hardly tear ourselves away often enough to try the restaurant at the marina a short walk away or restaurants in the neighborhood just up the walkway up the hill. We will have to return for a longer stay. Although I would not call this hotel kid friendly, it isn’t hostile to kids, either. I recall at least one family with kids perhaps 10 years old enjoying it as their base for a Dubrovnik holiday. And did I mention the food? The breakfasts, the rolls, the entrees, the desserts, and the wine selections were top notch. I still remember a perfectly roasted rack of lamb and an exquisite cheesecake. Or was it the taste I got of my wife’s mousse? Outstanding as the meals on our luxury cruise were, the meals at Hotel Kazbek might have been better—the culinary highlight of our vacation. Service: 5
