Hotel ben posizionato, camera piccola con vista su cavedio interno e soffitti bassi. Sconsigliato le Classic. Pulizia non impeccabile. Colazione discreta. In conclusione buono per un paio di notti a Zurigo, soprattutto per il posizionamento ma nulla più. Visita durante i mercatini natalizi.

Spent 4 nights in room 35 with my wife in May 2026. Hotel is waaay overpriced. We paid almost $500 a night for a hotel that was the opposite of luxurious and gave off a youth hostel vibe. The lobby is like a dungeon. The room is tiny and spartan. The bathroom is dated. Room doesn’t have a coffee maker, only a kettle for instant coffee. The bathtub has a partial glass door, so water sprays everywhere when taking a shower. Plus, the door leaked badly resulting in a flood of water. No free drinking water provided. No robe provided. Breakfast was identical every day. On the plus side, the location is great, and the staff are very nice. There is no way this place should cost $500 a night. Service: 5

We are sorry to learn that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. As a small historic boutique hotel, our room sizes, layouts, and all details including the room dimensions are clearly presented online before booking. Our property is intentionally different from larger modern luxury hotels and reflects the character of the historic building. Regarding the amenities mentioned, complimentary coffee, tea, and drinking water are available 24/7 in our first-floor lobby lounge, and all rooms are equipped with a kettle, tea, and instant coffee. Bathrobes are also available upon request at any time through reception. In Switzerland, tap water is perfectly safe to drink and of very high quality. We also understand that international exchange rates can currently make Switzerland feel particularly expensive for some travelers, which unfortunately is outside of our control. Most importantly, we truly wish we had known about your concerns during your stay, as our team would have done everything possible to assist and improve your experience immediately. Hotel Helmhaus is my first accomodation choice in Zurich. It is very comfortable, extremely taken care of - with attention to details and cleanliness - and with helpfull, friendly employees. The breakfast is well thought trough, with right balance of nutrition, and for every taste. I also like the guest profiles, the mix of business travellers and small groups of chatty tourists, bringing very nice and pleasant dynamics during the breakfast. Hotel location is the best, walking distance to everything. Will always be back! Service: 5
