What an awesome little find right in the heart of Como! We stopped at Ristorante Hosterietta for drinks before heading back to our hotel, and we absolutely loved the place. The location is fantastic, right on Piazza Volta, so you’re in the middle of everything and can easily walk anywhere around the center of Como. A huge shout-out to Salah, who looked after us and was absolutely brilliant! He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and really made our stop memorable. He even let me taste several different grappas, which was a lot of fun, and introduced me to a beer I had never tried before. We didn’t eat this time, but I have to say, the food coming out of the kitchen looked spectacular. Every plate we saw made me wish we’d arrived hungry! What really stood out was the atmosphere. Sitting outside on Piazza Volta, enjoying a few drinks, watching everything going on around you, and receiving such friendly service — that’s exactly the kind of experience you hope to find when traveling through Italy. Great location, fantastic atmosphere, excellent drinks, and outstanding hospitality from Salah. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re visiting Como. Next time, we’re definitely coming hungry! 5 stars from us! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
