La cucina austriaca è sul menu di questo locale. Prova a cambiare il tuo pasto tradizionale e ordina gli esotici cotoletta alla milanese, tafelspitz e burrata in questo ristorante. Curatissimi marillenknödel, strudel e kaiserschmarrn possono essere quello che ti ci vuole. Secondo l'opinione degli ospiti, il vino è ottimo al ristorante Hofwiesen. Qui si possono degustare un ottimo caffè espresso.
Il competente personale accoglie sempre la gente che arriva al meglio, in qualsiasi momento dell'anno. Rimarrai sicuramente soddisfatto del piacevole servizio. Fantastico ristorante austriaco. Cibo davvero ottimo, prodotti di prima qualità e servizio gentile. Porzioni abbondanti. Prezzi più alti rispetto alla zona ma ne vale sicuramente la pena. Facilmente raggiungibile con il tram 11. Assolutamente consigliato. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Abbiamo mangiato à la carte, con un antipasto misto consigliato a voce, ognuno ha poi scelto un primo o un secondo. Abbiamo gustato i piatti curati e ben presentati, ma al momento del conto la sorpresa sul prezzo degli antipasti: ogni singolo würstel o formaggio aveva il suo prezzo (decisamente caro) e la fattura finale era decisamente salata! Che dire? Buono ma eccessivamente caro!

The trick that could be assumed here is to surprise customers and get them to order (overpriced) dishes that are not listed on the menu: The advertised Brettljause cannot be found on the menu at all - the bill for the Brettljause (some ham and dips) then boldly included the two half Käsekrainer (these are cheese sausages about the length of a middle finger) that were also on the board. at CHF 11.- charged extra. When we asked, we were told that these had been consumed - which is true, but - we think - as an unsuspecting guest you can assume from the presentation alone that these are part of the advertised Brettljause and were not additionally foisted on you. During the meal you are constantly and almost intrusively given refills; Here, too, you get the impression that this is done specifically in order to make as much sales as possible. Of course, restaurants are all about making profits - but in our opinion the way in which the Gasthaus Hofwiesen operates is extremely questionable. In addition, non-alcoholic drinks are not even listed on the menu - here too, the price for two bottles of 0.7lt water at CHF 10.50 each is rather at the upper end of what would be expected. In short: Even if the food itself was okay, there is more than just a bad aftertaste. A repeat is out of the question for us. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
