We stayed in Hotel Split for 4 nights recently and the Havana is at the bottom of the hotel right on the beach but is not part of the hotel. The service was great, Ivan (the owner) and Dragan were the only two staff on front of house as it was the end of season but they were great. The choice and quality of food was good and prices were good. 16 euros for a burger and 14 to 16 for a Pizza, plenty of seafood on the menu too at good prices. I would definitely visit again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €25–30

We stayed at the Hotel Split and this restaurant is located underneath the hotel, on the beach. We ate here quite a few times and have no complaints about the food - it was simple but well executed. However, this review would not be complete without mentioning the legendary waiter who is named after the patron saint of Ireland. He delivers an Oscar winning performance of "the surly waiter" with zero interpersonal skills. Luckily, the supporting cast carry him and are quick to remedy his forgetfulness/disinterest in ensuring diners have things like cutlery or napkins. After a while, his behaviour took on comedic value as we watched other diners suffer at his hands. Oh, yes....almost forgot to say the restaurant is open till 11pm but don't try asking for a coffee after 9pm. Why? Because the waiter in question likes to switch off the coffee machine and clean it, ready for the next day and making you an after dinner coffee after 9pm would disrupt his established routine. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50+
