It's usually very good. But this time the order was not prepared because Deliveroo riders do not come to pick up the order if you pay in cash on delivery. Order placed at 6.40pm I had to call The restaurant at 8.50pm to discover that it hadn't even been prepared because the riders didn't accept the order. Review written quickly to warn other consumers and not to insult... but considering your response... to summarize: 1-order placed before 7pm when it wasn't pouring yet... I usually avoid ordering when the weather conditions are critical. 2-when we called you at 8.50pm you told us that the order was already ready but the deliveryman couldn't be found and that we should have called Deliveroo assistance because this often happens when you pay on delivery... REGARDLESS of the weather. 3- if you are aware of this dynamic (and you are because it was reported to us by you) you should deign to either cancel the order or pick up the phone and notify whoever is waiting... delivery expected at 8pm 4- if the dish wasn't ready there was no need to lie... I agree about avoiding waste, but why tell a lie? 5- what if I hadn't called? Would we have been left without dinner? Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
