Delicious! A little pricey but everything is in Switzerland. The fondue was tasty and so was the traditional hash brown with egg. Couple those with a good beer and it makes for a deliciously satisfying meal. Kid menu was perfect - 11 year old loved the homemade chicken nugget meal.

We selected this restaurant based on Yelp's positive ratings. I can only assume that the restaurant we visited must have changed hands or someone went to a different place. Today, walking back to hotel we were walking in front of a couple (Richard and Jennifer) from the Bay Area and overheard their poor restaurant experience. Low and behold, it was Goldener Anker, the same restaurant that we were in the night before with our adult children and granddaughter. On a positive note, we did get free tap water. This is the first place that we've been to that didn't charge for tap water. My wife ordered French Onion soup. It was, at best, soup mix poorly prepared. My son ordered the special fried perch. The restaurant did not debone the perch and deep fried the bony fish. When asked if they normally prepare this way, the answer was yes. We needed to ask for our check several times as we spent over 2 hours not enjoying the meal. This is a must miss place.
