The new rooms are simply fantastic—modernized to the last detail while still retaining the cozy, authentic Swiss charm of staying in traditional lodges. Despite the updates, they haven’t lost that unique spirit. The food is excellent, and the restaurant’s view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking. Many thanks to the Holdener family for always taking such great care of us whenever we visit, and a special thanks to the owner, Chef Hans, who is truly the kindest person you’ll ever meet! The Gasthaus Hirschen in Oberiberg offers great food and great service Sandra, one of their waitresses, provided us superb service. The chef and owner Hans Holdener does a superb job in the kitchen. Prices are reasonable for Switzerland. The view to the mountains is breathtaking! Indeed a great place to enjoy a great meal.
