memorable experience, especially for anyone interested in creative plant-based cuisine. It’s worth noting that the entire restaurant is fully vegan, which makes the level of inventiveness on the menu even more impressive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a clear focus on thoughtful presentation and quality ingredients. There’s a real fine-dining sensibility to the experience without it feeling overly formal or intimidating. To start, I had the carrot “lox”, which was beautifully plated—easily comparable to what you’d expect in a high-end restaurant. The presentation was refined and elegant, and the flavours were fresh, balanced, and carefully constructed. For the main course, I chose the potato rösti with seitan to try something more rooted in local Swiss cuisine, reimagined in a vegan way. It was hearty, satisfying, and well-executed, with strong textures and depth of flavour. One of the most unusual elements was a savoury ice cream served alongside the dish. It sounded unconventional at first, but it was surprisingly interesting and added a creative twist that made the plate more memorable. The only downside was the service speed. It felt quite slow during the visit. At one point, we were speaking with another guest who had ordered an ice cream, and it took around 20 minutes to arrive. With only one waiter covering the entire restaurant, the delay was understandable, but it did affect the rhythm of the meal. That said, the food more than made up for it. Everything felt carefully considered and beautifully prepared, and the kitchen clearly prioritises quality and creativity over speed. If you’re not in a rush, it’s absolutely worth it.
