Purtroppo solo di passaggio in questo bellissimo borgo ricco di storia , ci siamo fermati a mangiare una ottima pizza con un buon calice di Falanghina .Consigliatissimo ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €10–20

Federico Mottola - A Hidden Gem If you are travelling back from Naples to Rome and fancy stepping off the beaten track, I cannot recommend Federico Mottola highly enough. My partner and I decided to take a chance on a random town not far off our route without any prior research, and what a magnificent stroke of luck it turned out to be! This is an absolutely stellar pizzeria. From the moment you walk through the smart glass doors, you are greeted by a surprisingly modern and impeccably clean interior. They have a brilliant feature wall displaying canvas prints of their various pizzas, which adds a fantastic touch to the dining room. More importantly, the restaurant was bustling with locals rather than tourists, which is always the best indicator of authentic Italian food. The service was fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and highly professional. As for the food itself, it was simply top-tier. The pizzas boast that perfect, pillowy Neapolitan crust with a beautiful wood-fired char, and the fresh ingredients truly sing. We also tried a delightfully crispy, folded pizza sandwich that was absolutely smashing. I would strongly encourage anyone in the area to do themselves a favour and go. It is a brilliant spot to enjoy very authentic Italian food and is well worth the detour! Price per person: €40–50
