We celebrated the birthday of my husband at Essort. We took the 4 course menu plus wine. Everything was very delicious. Presentation was superb, but in my opinion, portions were quite modest. Prices are high but the experience is worth it. Regarding the service, it was outstanding, both owners were quite charming, cooks also very friendly and professionals coming to the table to present the dishes. Overall a great culinary experience in Bern Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

A magnificent evening at Restaurant Essort. The first reason, which makes a real difference between an excellent restaurant and an exceptional restaurant: the quality of the welcome. Sara and Ben are outstanding hosts. We will particularly note Sara's smile, her attention, her attention to detail, her kindness: this makes an evening in this atypical place even more successful. The open kitchen is a spectacle in itself. The restaurant, with its decoration and the softness that reigns there, simply invites you to disconnect. Finally, the terrace: in the middle of Bern, suddenly, we feel like we have been teleported to a tropical country, where once again, the challenge is successful: Sara and Ben have succeeded in taking us on a journey, through their talents and their passion. That evening, to get there, we walked along the Aare: the best way to disconnect and be ready to be delighted and surprised by the succulent, fine, and colorful cuisine of the Essort team.
