Sono stato a pranzo questa settimana ma sono uscito questa volta con sensazioni contrastanti. Se da un lato i piatti valevano tutti “il prezzo del biglietto” come sempre, dall’altra il servizio in sala mi ha lasciato un po’ perplesso per disattenzione ed energia negativa percepita, in particolare da una signorina probabilmente fuori contesto dato il livello del ristorante ( o forse un giornata no ). Spiace Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Ci dispiace però sapere che il servizio in sala non sia stato all’altezza delle sue aspettative. Every time you leave El Porteño Gourmet, you suddenly have the desire to return. It will be due to the glossy and elegant atmosphere, the refined cuisine, led by Chef Matteo Torretta, it will be the impeccable service of the maître Antonio Guarnieri but, simply, all these factors make El Porteno Gourmet the right choice, whether to spend a pleasant evening with friends, you want for a lunch or a business dinner. The menu is well thought out and of the highest quality. The added value is given by the fact that the chef is very willing to make changes to the dishes if necessary. I was very impressed when, due to surgery, I was unable to chew properly and had to eat everything strictly soft. The chef proved to be accommodating as ever, offering me a "blended" version of his dishes. A gesture and professionalism that is rarely witnessed. These gestures of pleasure, combined with the high level of his cuisine and service, pushed me to organize a dinner for 30 people. A fantastic dinner although unfortunately that evening, the maitre Antonio Guarnieri had to be absent, and his absence was felt quite a bit with regards to the organization and management of the evening. Apart from this small and unique isolated event, the experience with El Porteno gourmet has always been impeccable.
