Very very lovely service and delicious food! Portions were great and we left feeling lovely and full. We had lunch here with some friends it was the perfect place and we all agreed that we already look forward to returning again in the future. Everything really was 5/5 stars, but I would also like to just give a little feedback to the tartar starter, to make it exceptional it would need a little more seasoning, perhaps a little salt and something vinegary to compliment the dish. Such a cozy and welcoming spot with an effortlessly cool vibe! The staff were super friendly and clearly enjoy working together, which added to the warm, familiar atmosphere. The Wiener Schnitzel was next-level delicious, and the dessert was the perfect sweet ending. Overall, a super inviting and relaxed place—I had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back! Two days ago my wife, friends and I had the pleasure of having dinner for the second time at the restaurant "Der Wilde Kaiser Wienzeile" in Zurich, accompanied by our dog. We toasted with a refreshing Kaiser-Spritz, which tasted excellent. As a starter we enjoyed various salads and a delicious boiled beef soup with homemade liver dumplings. For the main course we chose pork and veal schnitzel as well as the vegetarian version, accompanied by traditional potato salad or sweet potato fries. All dishes were exquisitely prepared and received rave reviews from everyone present. The Kaiserschmarren dessert rounded off our culinary experience wonderfully. The boss and the staff charmingly asked about our well-being several times with their Austrian accent. The fact that our dog (a calm, well-behaved Labrador) was allowed to accompany us was also greatly appreciated. Despite the positive experience, there are two points that have to be criticized and prevent me from giving the full number of stars: Firstly, the restaurant is very noisy. In addition to the noise level caused by guests' conversations, which is probably difficult to reduce, there is also music playing in the background, which further increases the overall volume. This makes you feel more like you're in a bar than a restaurant. The music could easily be left out in favor of guests who want to chat while eating. Secondly, the menu and its font are to be criticized. The squiggly font may look nice, but is extremely inconvenient to read. Sometimes I had to copy the text from the online menu to my smartphone and paste it into a text document to get a readable font. A different, more reader-friendly font would be more beneficial, especially since the menu in the restaurant is read in rather dim lighting. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back as guests because of the excellent food, and perhaps I can give the last star by then. Vegetarian options: Breaded schnitzel made from mushroom and eggplant.
