The host looked at me with a puzzled expression when I mentioned my reservation and provided my name. After a brief consultation with a colleague, he informed me that there seemed to be an issue and that they were unable to accommodate me.
To my astonishment, the host then casually mentioned that they had apparently sent me an email, which I was supposed to have received earlier in the day, notifying me about their inability to honor the reservation. I was taken aback – not only had I received no such email, but I had also provided my credit card details to secure the reservation, which made the situation even more perplexing.
While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise in the restaurant industry, the lack of communication and professionalism on the part of the restaurant was deeply disappointing. It's inconceivable to me that they would take credit card information and confirm a reservation only to later claim they couldn't accommodate without any direct communication.
What hurt the most was not just the inconvenience of finding an alternative dining option on short notice, but the manner in which the situation was handled. The staff's attitude lacked empathy and understanding, leaving me feeling like an afterthought rather than a valued guest.

I strongly advise potential diners to exercise caution when considering making reservations at this restaurant.
