Piatti belli da vedere, buoni e originali. In particolare lo sformatino e il risotto con pere e noci! Carinissimo il ragazzo che lavora lì, disponibile e attento ad ogni richiesta. Locale carinissimo, in una bellissima posizione, molto carini all’interno e con una terrazza spettacolare! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Serata fredda di metà settembre. Locale vuoto. C’era da immaginarlo che i piatti non sarebbe stati espressi.. Ma tutto precotto o dal congelatore . Parlo solo della mia parmigiana che era ridotta ad una poltiglia immangiabile e che non hanno nemmeno avuto la decenza di togliermela dal conto dopo che gliel’ho fatto notare Perso due indifferente e poco attento. After another restaurant, famous in Le Cave di Maiano, no longer exists, we must certainly give the award-winning Cucina Pietraforte the prize for best restaurant on site as well as consider it one of the best ever in Florence. The chronicle of the evening at dinner in this restaurant is simple but suggestive. With my daughters I reach the locality. Imperative: find availability at 21:30. In Florence, without a reservation it is a very prohibitive undertaking. Let's go in. An experienced restaurateur welcomes us and seats us without asking if we have booked. First point in favor of Cucina Pietraforte. The rest: a fresh atmosphere, with the rain having messed up the plans of our restaurateurs, forcing them to clear the table in the evening and then quickly re-set the outside tables. Internally it appears the same room with amplitude in terms of square footage of course, which had the old Graziella restaurant. However, the strongly renewed character catches the eye, which gives the tone of a classic country restaurant with important ambitions. It could be very good for a ceremony: elegant but also sober. Very clean and welcoming. Outside, apart from the area with the view, the front can accommodate many other people under the canopy in a context of peace and freshness that reflects what you usually look for at the Caves. We feel good. Dinner begins: interesting and appetizing but untried appetizers; we weren't hungry at all. We order three first courses with Angus ragù which satisfy us greatly in terms of taste. We don't know Angus but it must be a great bovine .... from a culinary point of view for sure with an intense but not cloying taste. By the way, the chef and the gentleman who served had also provided a solution for children ... who usually eat very little. As a second course we have a cod in three with baked potatoes. Excellent, melts in the mouth .... and leaves a good taste. We don't order sweets but even there the list was absolutely fine. What to add: the wine list is also excellent: a Montepulciano is served to me and it goes very well as a house proposal, certainly superior, in stature, to the vast majority of Florentine restaurants. We hope to be able to return soon, when we return to the Cave di Maiano it will be our safe appointment. Bill in the norm, one hundred euros that can fit considering the very high level of service. In short: professionalism, refined taste and honesty are three characteristics of this restaurant, data in hand. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
