We stopped at Conzato / Vino e Piccola Cucina for lunch while travelling from Salerno, and it was one of the highlights of our journey through southern Italy. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth. The staff were patient, kind and attentive, creating a relaxed atmosphere from start to finish. The food was exceptional—beautifully prepared, full of local flavour and presented with great care. Every dish reflected the quality of the ingredients and the pride the team clearly takes in what they do. The restaurant itself is immaculate, with excellent facilities, adding to the overall sense of quality and attention to detail. If you’re visiting Matera, whether for a few hours or a full day, I would recommend making time to eat here. It’s more than just a wonderful meal; it’s a memorable hospitality experience and one we would happily return to on our next visit.
