Dopo aver visto il Novartis Campus, è ora di fare una pausa in questo ristorante. Se sei un amante della cucina cinese devi venire qui. Questo posto ti potrà deliziare con curatissimi manzo, pollo e anatra. Mangiare qui i gustosi pancakes è una piacevole esperienza.

We looked at the food photos online for all the Chinese restaurants in Basel and found this one to be most authentic. And it was!!! We walked 30 minutes in the cold and it was well worth it. The waitress/owner was very friendly and chatted with us about the city and the culture. We had braised eggplant, stir fried green beans and hot n sour soup. Everything was delicious. Even the jasmine rice was great, very fragrant. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm pre-diabetic and I have to watch my sugar/carbs intake. Went with friends to China 99 and ordered the mapo tofu without white rice. While tofu normally has a very low glycemic index what I didn't think about is the sauce, it was full of added sugar that my blood sugar spiked to over 11. So for people who is on a keto or low carb diet, make sure the sauce is low carb as well. China Restaurant 99 in Basel serves authentic Szechuan cuisine. Having been here a few times, have always found the service extremely warm and friendly. We ordered a Noodles Soup with Chicken, a Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup, Fried Spring Onion Bread and a Jiao Zi (boiled dumplings). The soups were delicious, and the food was warm and flavourful. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Clearly marked in the menu Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CHF 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
