Servizio troppo veloce, antipasti niente di speciale nelle pasta non si sentiva la nduja forse c’è n’era poco, la cosa che mi ha colpito in modo positivo sono state le bestemmie calabre. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Ho trovato a Zurigo la piccola Italia! Pizza fantastica, mi hanno accolto anche se sono arrivato tardi e mi hanno fatto sentire a casa. Lo consiglio davvero a tutti. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 20–30

If you're looking for a restaurant so small it almost flies under the radar, then Ristorante "Chianalea" is the place for you! This charming Italian restaurant is like a well-kept secret that only the true foodies know. And believe me, it's a secret you should definitely reveal! The menu is small enough to fit in a wallet - but don't let that fool you! Each dish is a masterpiece of Calabrian cuisine. The homemade pasta is so fresh and delicious that I almost proposed to the chef. It was so good that I wondered if Nonna herself was in the kitchen, conjuring things up with love and a touch of magic. The service is so attentive and accommodating that I felt like a VIP guest at an Italian film festival. Not only did they help me choose the dishes, but they also chatted about the wines with a charming smile and the knowledge of a sommelier. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, almost as if you were invited to dinner with an Italian family. You'd think the walls were whispering stories from Calabria - or maybe it was just the music in the background. Doesn't matter! It just felt right. So if you fancy a culinary trip to Calabria (without having to book the plane ticket), then you shouldn't miss this little gem. I really hope that "Chianalea" remains an insider tip - because the more people find out about it, the harder it will be for me to reserve a table!
