The best spicy beef ever and exceptionally warm hospitality in Lausanne! Chez Xu is my absolute mandatory go-to whenever I am back in Lausanne! If you are craving authentic, deeply flavorful, and comforting food, this place is unbeatable: The food is phenomenal, the value is amazing, and the service comes with a wonderful, friendly smile. Why we love it: The Legendary Spicy Beef 水煮牛肉: Absolutely delicious with the perfect kick. It’s easily the best spicy beef you’ll find in town! Incredible Generosity: The portions here are huge. We couldn't finish everything, and the staff was nice enough to pack our leftovers for us. Wonderful Hospitality: Even though we arrived towards the end of the lunch rush and accidentally overstayed past closing time, the team was so gracious, relaxed, and welcoming. Pro-Tip: Because the dishes are so substantial, this restaurant is best enjoyed with a group of friends so you can share and try multiple things.
