I’m visiting Italy from the United States and stumbled upon this place while walking back to my AirBnB. We sat down for some drinks, and Domenico was our server. He was very nice, personable, and really funny. But what stood out most about Casa Orefici (and Domenico) was how much they went above and beyond for a tourist with just a few days in Bologna. We asked Domenico if Da Cesaei (a nearby restaurant) was worth the trip (it was), and asked if we needed a reservation (we did). Domenico called the restaurant, seemingly argued with the person on the phone in Italian, and got us a reservation/table for the same day. When we walked into the restaurant, the place was packed, and we were seated immediately, thanks to Domenico So, definitely stroll through the city and stumble upon this place for a few drinks and appetizers. Domenico seemingly knows all of the merchants on the block if you need other recommendations! Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: €10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
