This restaurant is fantastic!! We've been to Gargnano three times (because it's a wonderful place, but that's a different review!), and have eaten at every restaurant here. Casa Calderi is the best! The food was flawless - we shared a beef tartare to start, then I had the lamb chops while my wife had the duck. All were perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. Afterwards, we shared the homemade tiramisu, which was divine - I had a hundred average tiramisus, and had fallen out of love with it really, but this one was a delight! I was sad at having to share... The staff were friendly and helpful, giving fantastic advice on wine and grappa. We have booked a retun visit at the end of our holiday.
