Generally the food was great and was made on demand, meaning that things were not ready to be served which is both good and bad. The service could be better, but small things mostly, e.g. the waiter did not bring a straw for the gin tonic we ordered. The main drawback was that there was no view outside. The place had thick dark curtains and they were trying to give that cozy feeling but the small tables made the place feel small in general. Nevertheless the staff was friendly, polite and accommodating. Price per person: CHF 70–80 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Expensive, but great food! 3 of 4 dishes were amazing, particularly the truffle pasta! Gnocchi needed a bit of work! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CHF 90–100

I have taken a little time to write this review, no fault of the restaurant, just my busy lifestyle.... My husband and I were in Zermatt for Christmas 2023 and had our Christmas Dinner at La Table du Carina. We couldn't have found a better place, the food was AMAZING, the atmosphere was AWESOME, the staff were so attentive and passionate about the food they were serving, it was truly a beautiful evening!!! Not only was our food experience the BEST we found in Zermatt, but the cost was also far better than downtown Zermatt. Whether you are a local or visiting Zermatt, do yourself a favour and book a meal at La Table du Carina, you will not be disappointed. If we ever make our way back someday, we will be definitely back. Bon Appetit :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
