Dopo aver visto il Quartier des Eaux-Vives, è ora di fare una pausa in questo ristorante. Sarà una piacevole esperienza provare gli esotici lumache, braciola e pesce. L'atmosfera ospitale di questo locale dipende in larga misura dal personale, che qui è davvero sveglio. Il fichissimo servizio ti metterà a tuo agio. I honestly haven’t had such a frustrating dining experience in a long time. I waited almost 1 hour and 15 minutes just to get an aperitif. The food was nothing special. Portions were shockingly small for the price. The chicharrón was literally thrown onto a spoonful of guacamole smeared across the whole plate. Honestly. It felt like a joke. The waitresses were unpleasant, dismissive, and clearly overwhelmed. It looked like handling two tables was already too much for them. I was ignored from start to finish. No smile, no attention, no basic professionalism. And the table placed right at the entrance. Cold drafts the whole evening and cigarette smells coming into the restaurant every time the door opened. Amazing atmosphere for trying to “enjoy a meal”. Overall. Mediocre. Absolutely not a place I’d recommend. I won’t be going back. What a gem! Really interesting and tasty signature cocktails. We shared the chicarron and crab empanadas as starters and then had ribs and octopus as mains. Everything was delicious and very well prepared. Speedy and super friendly service, which surprised me since the night we went there was a table of 20 that arrived before us. Good job! Excellent experience! Friendly service, lovely ambiance, fantastic cocktails (especially the Caracol Caliente) and delicious food-- Caracol ticks all the boxes. Everything we ordered was amazing, but I'd like to mention in particular the lingots de manioc and the cheesecake with guava sauce, which had creative flavours that worked really well together. A bit on the expensive side for the portion sizes, but not unusually so by Geneva standards. We look forward to returning.
