This is such a standout restaurant in Eaux Vives. Above all the food and cocktails were top tier. We had the ceviche nikkei, the comote frito, the pollo, patatas bravas and guacamole. Thanks to the suggestion of our excellent waiter (Eline? - sorry!) we got a large portion of ceviche, but it would have been smarter to get two different ones. The picture is from the ceviche bar. I’ll be back to try the others. One of the best things about Alma is that they have a bar, where you can have a drink before dinner or eat as a solo diner while soaking up the lively atmosphere. As we didn’t make a reservation beforehand we were seated at the bar (which was fine). We ordered a few tapas including croquettes (delicious) fried squids, patatas brava and pimientos, which were fine. Sadly it was one of the worst services we‘ve ever had. Over an hour waiting time for our food - and the ordered items didn’t arrive together but randomly at different times. We had to remind the waiter to bring us our pimientos twice, which again took over 20 minutes to be served. Another lifetime to be able to pay, as it seemed no one was assigned to us or worse - didn’t seem to care! Service: Dine in Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
