Ci vengono lasciati tovaglioli e posate in un ammucchio e subito dopo i piatti. Chiedo cortesemente se possiamo avere delle tovagliette e vedo uno sbuffo dalla vetrina (poco intelligente, i clienti da fuori possono vedervi dentro). Saremo stati particolarmente antipatici a quanto pare, perché la cameriera non è mai più tornata al tavolo a servirci. Dispiace vedere queste scene, specialmente in questo periodo di crisi per la ristorazione. Lavoro anche io a tempo pieno in una piola nel centro di Torino, e quel giorno in particolar modo uscivo da un turno estenuante di 9 ore di servizio. Non siamo persone pretenziose, anzi, ma un sorriso e una cura in più non guasterebbero. Peccato per il locale perché è davvero simpatico, così come quello che sembrava essere il titolare. Io più di tutti posso capire la stanchezza di fine giornata dopo un susseguirsi di tavoli e clienti, ma la scortesia e lo stress non possono essere riversati su chi viene a trovarvi. Non vi conoscevo e ho pensato di venire a conoscere il locale perché mi dava una buona impressione, devo dire che ci sono rimasta male. Non esistono solo i clienti habitué. Oltretutto noto solo adesso che non siamo i primi a notare la poca professionalità della cameriera, per lo meno è un'opinione condivisa. Non penso torneremo più.
As a group of 11, without a reservation, we felt very lucky to stumble over this very nice looking restaurant & be accommodated very kindly by the staff. The front of house was very nice and clear on what substitutions affected their menu on the day & all started great. As a tapas + normal restaurant, people at the table ordered a mix of dishes, from antipasti to meat boards, tapas and pasta dishes, at this point I'm not sure what happened, as some people were asked which order they'd like their food to arrive at, others weren't. So while all dishes started arriving, a few people that ordered directly main dishes had to wait over 1 hour (while everyone else ate). When we enquired with the front of house she was very defensive straight away and started arguing with one of our party. Beside this unprofessional behaviour - she said something like "I do not like your tone" when his tone wasn't honesty bad, but we had been waiting for ages at that point so perhaps a little short. Anyways, after this and more wait, the mains finally arrived, we had 3 wrong orders that had to be amended + a friend who does not speak Italian very well accidentally ordered one of the starters that were not available (we were told about this, but there must have been miscommunication from this foreign friend - who did show the item he wanted from the menu) but was not corrected so this never arrived at the table, not even a warning so he was quite confused at one point, while he waited for over an hour. Additionally, all but one person (who ordered the agnolotti) said their mains were not of good standards, which is a shame because the tapas and octopus dishes I tried were genuinely delicious (hence 2 starts rather than 1).
After all of this, when we set off to pay, another friend in the party politely tried to give some feedback to the front of house, saying that despite the difference in points of view & tones used by both guests and staff, she should at least admit they'd been a little disorganised. To this she replied a resounding NO, this conversation happening while her payment system wouldn't recognise my non-italian debit and credit cards (which have both been working perfectly fine in Turin for the previous 2 days) - so that a friend had to cover my share of the bill.
Overall I wouldn't go back nor recomend it, unless you're going in a much smaller group on a quiet night and order small dishes only.
