The first time (2 weeks ago) I passed by Cala & Fuci it was by chance, and I decided to grab something to take away after my swim. I chose the Panino Spaziale with mortadella, stracciatella, sun-dried tomatoes, and pistachio. I ate it by the sea and honestly, I had never tasted something so delicious and perfectly balanced – simple yet executed to perfection. The next day I thought I’d go back to have a light lunch, so I ordered the Seafood Salad. While waiting, the menu tempted me again, and I added the Grilled Octopus with tomatoes and eggplants. The result? Another culinary revelation, way better than my first experience. During the four days I stayed in the area, I found myself there every single day. I also met Antonio, the owner and the heart of the restaurant. A person full of passion, dedication, and attention to detail, who carefully selects only the best ingredients. He told me they opened just 2–3 months ago, and it has already become the absolute “talk of the town.” I wasn’t surprised: I saw it with my own eyes, full of local customers – and for me, that’s always the best sign of quality. Prices are very reasonable, the menu is full of smart choices (from gourmet panini to fresh salads and unique seafood dishes), and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Later, when I read other reviews, they simply confirmed my own experience. If I could give it 6 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would!
