Overpriced scam area on top of that awful poor quality taste. Please avoid this area if you could. Asked for a small gelato but instead given a medium size and charge me €8 (medium). On top of that the lady server came to me and told me that her worker was working from morning till noon. We work too man and understand getting tired. l would compromise if they admitted to a mistake but instead blamed me for my “wrong order”. Told them they got my order wrong initially refused to refund but at the end gave me €4 back and told me to leave after much yelling and slamming the money and gelato on the counter. If you weren’t attentive, they would’ve easily scammed u. Imagine how many people who has been through the same yet remained quiet and voila easily they get that extra money every customer.

Dear owner, please check this carefully. Frustrated tourists are accidentally leaving bad reviews on YOUR page because a dishonest gelato shop located at Via Nazionale, 61r (angolo R) is illegally using your "Caffè Vergnano 1882" sign to trick people. On June 8th, I was severely scammed by that fake shop. They have no menu board and charged me 7 euros for a small gelato. To block bad reviews and avoid taxes, they are registered as "Permanently Closed" on Google Maps under the name 'I Gelati del Bondi'. Because they hid their own page and stole your branding, tourists think THIS wonderful cafe is the one that scammed them. How to verify: The scam shop at Via Nazionale 61r issues a receipt under the business number P.IVA 07500130484 (Name: GELATERIA). If you see 1-star reviews from tourists complaining about gelato prices, it is 100% about that fake shop, NOT your amazing cafe. Your cafe is beautiful and has great service. I have already reported their P.IVA 07500130484 to the Guardia di Finanza (Financial Police) for tax evasion and brand theft to protect your business. Please take legal action against them! Aggiungo per i truffatori: Siete la vergogna d'Italia.
