We decided to stop last minute at Cafe Restaurant du Soleil and this was a pleasant surprise. The place itself looks lovely, very simply, but captivatingly decorated with a beautiful natural light inside durin lunch time. The service was great and kind too, quickly attending us and taking our order. Regarding food: this is an area that could still improve, they are heading in the right direction. I had salad and chicken, salad was very good - bread could have been better considering all the good boolangeries you have around - I'm always surprised when bread is not good in a restaurant in Switzerland. The main dish, the chicken was delicious and perfectly cooked - however, the pure and the rest of the vegetables was a rather strange mix of flavors and felt rather unbalanced. I ate the meat with its surrounding sauce, but not the rest, even if I tried. Might be a personal taste, maybe you will like it, for me it just felt and unbalanced dish - though very well presented. This is not to stop me from returning or trying again as the place was indeed very inviting and comforting. Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
