Nice little cafe restaurant. Good for a quick bite or an afternoon coffee. They also had Oktoberfest theme and specialties this month. Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Very disappointed with this service. A few years ago I was often a guest in this tea room. Especially for lunch since I worked in Oerlikon. A few days ago I was there again for coffee after six months. A relative of mine works in a retirement home, right behind the Ami Tea Room. So we agreed to meet at “Ami”. I arrived at 5:15pm and ordered my coffee. At 5 minutes before half past six, I saw my date walking straight past the café... I called her and immediately ordered a cappuccino for her while she hurried back. The service staff shouted at me unfriendly that they would close at 6:00 p.m. and asked if I didn't know this! I immediately paid for the two coffees and immediately cleared away my dishes. However, since my date had been at work for 10 hours, I wanted her to at least have a quick coffee.... We were ready to go at 5:40 p.m. and wanted to leave the restaurant at the side exit because my car was parked there. The lady immediately shouted: "Yes, then I have to lock it again later!" I would like to add that I worked as a service worker for many years. We always served until opening hours. It went without saying that we said goodbye to the last guest in a friendly and nice way, even half or an hour after Zapfenstreich. It's sad what hosts can do with today's prices.
