Good morning, I don't know why but Google hadn't published the reasons for the vote given. My rating merely concerns the service at the time of booking (as can be seen from the star given to the service), as I cannot judge anything else, given that I did not have the opportunity to come to the restaurant. On Friday evening I called to book a table for a drink at 11pm, after having made sure that the closing time was scheduled for 1am. The girl on the phone, very annoyed, tells me that it's not possible. In asking for the reason for this not being possible and probably attributing it to the fact that the place was already full, she replies that it was simply not good at 11pm because it was too late. At this point I told her that we would only drink and NOT eat, she replied that I could come at 10pm but not later because it was too late; I then highlight that the reported closing time was 1am, repeat again that 11pm is not good and close with: "either come at 10pm or nothing". Beyond the unpolite ways used, which I will gloss over, it seems absurd to me not to be able to book at the desired time (two hours before the declared closing time) simply because the girl didn't want to, it was enough simply, in a more cunning and astute way, to say that the place was fully booked, avoiding this unpleasant little show. In a historical moment like this where so much seems leveled on standards tending downwards or grotesque attempts at luxury, Broadwine and its brothers are oases of a clear and direct style, where simplicity is synonymous with articulated and calibrated ideas on pure Hospitality. Broadwine is warm, international, classic and modern at the same time. Quality drinks and food at prices appropriate to the "standing" of the area. Chapeau.
