I really wanted to like Bocca, because the staff were genuinely excellent and the atmosphere has a fun, authentic taqueria feel. Sadly, the food was a complete disaster. Every single dish my partner and I ordered was tasteless, badly executed, and honestly unpleasant to eat. And I don’t say that lightly — I’ve eaten authentic Mexican food all over, and I even cook things like mole at home, so I know the difference between simple, honest Mexican cooking and food that just misses the mark completely. This wasn’t a case of one bad plate. It was every dish. Bland, flat, and deeply disappointing from start to finish. So yes: amazing staff, great energy, nice concept — but the food was genuinely terrible. If you want proper Mexican in Switzerland, skip this and drive to Geneva for Taqueria Los Cuñados, which is far closer to the real thing. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
