What can you do with 25m2 available? The answer comes from Barac in Como in the police station area which offers "fast food" dishes in a truly intimate space and with a spartan and vaguely South American style. Now I don't focus too much on the decor because it's a pub and I went to eat for lunch. It is therefore possible that all strange objects without apparent coherence (porcelain, paintings of the diocese of Como and surfing) take on a different charm as night falls. I would rather talk about food. Even though it is a fast food restaurant, it belongs to that category that distinguishes itself from the large chains. The smoky taste of the beef sandwiches and the crispy, golden chips are worth trying, full of flavor and cooked well. I took the chicken skewers and although there was perhaps a little too little meat it was good. I was more perplexed by the pita bread on the plate since I wasn't sure what to use with the potatoes. However, considering the price and the friendly service, I would say that we had a great time and I would recommend it without any particular reservations for a quick snack during a lunch break. Maybe I'll come back to visit them in the evening and even try one of the craft beers.
