Lovely, friendly Cafe Bar, which became our local for a wine and Beer on the way back to the holiday villa. Super location with a well stocked vegetable and fruit garden. Tasty icecream too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As many have said it, this is indeed a hidden gem in Capri. After a tiring hike from Villa Lysis, we spontaneously stopped by Bar Il Barbone for lunch without checking out any reviews since there was no signal up there. I was greeted with the most delicious Caprese salad I've had during my trip in Italy. Everything is as fresh as it gets as the tomatoes and basil leaves are from their own garden next to where you are seated. The owner was also very warm and friendly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
