Delicious coffee served in beautiful crockery. Perfect interiors- comfortable, elegant and yet not too distracting. Also play beautiful music at the perfect volume for a cafe! Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very unpleasant attitude from owners. We saw on the bill that a small jug of tap water(not evian or sparkling) costs 3 francs, and we suggested it would be nice if they indicated it somewhere, either on the menu or verbally. In return we heard “What did you expect, you didn’t order any other drinks” . Drinking coffee is NOT mandatory, and we already ordered three dishes (>50chf per table). They also said we don’t understand business, and tried to lecture us that nothing in life comes free. Except most restaurants do serve free water, which is essential for living, or show its price upfront. You serve a croissant for 7.5 francs and a spoon of granola for 9 francs, the prices aren’t cheap. Hidden costs from water wont surge your business, happiness of the customers will. But since they are experts I’m sure they wont mind our negative review reaching all our friends, family, colleagues and thousands of people online because they will make up by overcharging someone else over water. A culinary highlight in a cozy atmosphere Five of us recently went to Bar Butter in Zurich and were absolutely thrilled with our visit! As soon as we entered the restaurant, we noticed the lovingly arranged showcase with a fantastic selection of pain au chocolat and croissants, which looked simply irresistible. I chose the croissant waffle with smoked carrots and an egg benedict – just to die for! Not only was the food a dream, the coffee and tea were also celebrated with a passion that you rarely find. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly nature of the host and his staff, who made our stay unforgettable. A real highlight in Zurich that you shouldn't miss!
