Amazing find near river in old town of Zürich. Everything is Vegan. With great selection of food. And excellent beverages. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our server Arya was amazingly helpful. We had dal soup and avocado toast. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: CHF 10–20

I used to love coming to roots and getting a fresh pressed juice and snacks. It was a daily routine and would come with friends often. Currently, it seems the have streamlined their processes and I would compare it to a 'healthy option' Panera Bread. I don't dig the changes as it appears healthy but has lots of short cuts. When local restaurants turn 'fast-foody' at the same cost, it guts the reason why consumers come to these healthy eateries. I ordered the avocado, peanut butter toast. Topped with de-thawed pomegranate seeds and smothered with a nice almond butter was white bread (despite informing me that it was wheat and spelt). If you are a conscious eater beware of the food tech-ed options. That being said, for an easy smoothie, coffee etc., this spot seems like a nice place to co-work or for a quick treat.
