Love it here. The location, the food and nice people. Only downside: no more cappuccino with cow milk :((.

I used to love coming to roots and getting a fresh pressed juice and snacks. It was a daily routine and would come with friends often. Currently, it seems the have streamlined their processes and I would compare it to a 'healthy option' Panera Bread. I don't dig the changes as it appears healthy but has lots of short cuts. When local restaurants turn 'fast-foody' at the same cost, it guts the reason why consumers come to these healthy eateries. I ordered the avocado, peanut butter toast. Topped with de-thawed pomegranate seeds and smothered with a nice almond butter was white bread (despite informing me that it was wheat and spelt). If you are a conscious eater beware of the food tech-ed options. That being said, for an easy smoothie, coffee etc., this spot seems like a nice place to co-work or for a quick treat.
