Unico ristorante stellato Michelin in Lubiana, ottima proposta gastronomica con cibo di qualità, location suggestiva è molto intima, ottima la proposta per il pranzo con prezzi accessibili e un gustoso menu di 3 postate, lo consiglio.

This restaurant earns money by scamming its customers by selling gift vouchers for services they do not offer. Here I describe how they took 44€ from me while offering no service in return. I was given two gift vouchers for lunch at Atelje worth 22€ each for my birthday. I tried to book lunch by calling Atelje on multiple occasions within opening hours and nobody picked up the phone (until it always got automatically forwarded to the reception of hotel Union, which cannot help you with things relating to Atelje). Since they are not reachable by phone, I sent them an email and did receive an answer there. They answered I cannot book lunch because they do not offer lunch. I then asked them to either prolong the validity of my lunch gift cards until they offer lunch again or refund me the money since they no longer offer the service written on the gift cards, which they refused to do. They said the only way to use these vouchers is to book dinner with them and pay the difference. The least expensive menu you can order is a 7-course one for 110€ with wine accompaniment for 40€. What my cousin bought me for 44€ (2 * 22€) as a gift, now changed to an obligation to spend 2 * (110€ + 40€) - 44€ = 256€ in their restaurant! I pointed out to them that such behaviour is not fair and asked them to reconsider, that we would love to try out lunch, and if we like it, come for dinner at a later point without being forced to do it, to which I received no reply. The gift turned out to be a scam to take 44€ from my (cousin's) pocket while offering no service in return. Touchée Atelje. I am attaching photos of gift vouchers to judge for yourself. I have not tried food in this restaurant and never will, so my review relates exclusively to customer service. Since customer service isn't just bad but a straight-out scam that cost me money, I am giving it 1 star. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
