I had the opportunity to (finally!) discover Anoah for a brunch today. Given the weather, we had the chance to eat on their lovely terrace - a very cozy and peaceful atmsophere! The three dishes offered were tasty, the ingredients and combinations inventive, beautifully plated. Although we loved the first one, we found the two second somewhat underwhelming - very “gastronomical” in their presentation but a bit less in their taste. The buffet was also quite limited in the choice: one type of bread, a brioche and croissants, a few dips (delicious but with too much oil for our taste), and birchermuesli. Our waiter was very friendly but the service was somewhat slow even if there were few guests. All in all, we had a lovely time but given the price, we expected a bit more. I would still recommend for a special occasion, when you want to experience more than the usual avocado toast and pancakes. The team at Anoah are excellent hosts. We really enjoyed the welcome, the atmosphere, the knowledge and service. There is a set menu, all vegan, with options for wine pairing, non-alcoholic pairing or a mix which is really accommodating. The menu was really interesting - every dish had a very different flavour and texture profile, each time showcasing a different ingredient. Our group really enjoyed the starter 'snacks', the starter and 2nd & 3rd courses - great flavour combinations and textures. The 4th, 5th and desserts was mixed reaction - they tested our palates! We enjoyed the drinks - champagne, wine, beers. It was a little bit pricier than we expected but overall an enjoyable evening.
