It's the second time you've come back to us (the first last Christmas) precisely because, according to you, you had a good time and didn't feel "skinned". You are a group of young people who organize the company dinner on their own without the financial support of the company itself and I understand that perhaps you have an established budget but everything was specified in the quote regularly sent to whoever organized the event, including how many and which drinks were included and the wine was NOT included. I have re-downloaded the copy of the receipt for your event and I invite you to come to us to view it (if by chance you had not seen it that evening) so that we can understand what you consumed more than what your colleague organizer agreed. Aperitifs, bitters, beers were not included and some bottles of a certain label were consumed in addition to the other basic ones that I had proposed in the estimate (I would therefore also like to let you see the agreed and approved estimate in case you had not read it carefully) As for food, those who have known us for years know that we are not tight and we often stop by (I personally do it several times during the evening) to ask if you would like a review on everything (it was done that evening too).
