Una volta conclusa la passeggiata attorno al Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis, visita Alpine Gourmet Prato Borni. L'aspetto più interessante di questo locale è la cucina svizzera. È ora di provare i loro curatissimi gamberi, vitello e filetto americano. Se ti proponessero piatti quali ottimo parfait, non esitare a provarlo qui. Un delizioso vino è la scelta giusta. È d'obbligo mentre sei in questo ristorante provare fantastico caffè.

We had an excellent evening at Prato Borni in Zermatt. Every course was beautifully presented, refined and full of flavour. A special compliment to Chef Stefan Lunsen and his kitchen team — the cooking was precise, creative and very well balanced from start to finish. The service team was equally impressive: professional, warm and attentive without ever feeling too formal. The wine pairings were excellent as well, carefully chosen and a perfect match for the dishes. A complete fine-dining experience and definitely one of the places to visit in Zermatt Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Alpine Gourmet Prato Borni delivers the kind of dining experience that makes you feel like you’ve been handed the keys to the kitchen; in the best possible way. I absolutely loved the concept: you can mix and match dishes from the meat and vegetarian sections to build your own 4‑, 5‑, or 6‑course menu, even choosing multiple mains if you’re feeling adventurous. It’s playful, flexible, and refreshingly unpretentious for a fine‑dining setting. Every plate that arrived was beautifully presented and genuinely delicious. The trio of Swiss Wagyu beef was a standout — rich, elegant, and perfectly executed — and the pigeon was another highlight, cooked with real finesse. The local wine selection is fantastic as well, with thoughtful pairings that showcase the region without feeling predictable. The only small hiccup is the cheese trolley. It’s a charming idea, and the waitress does a wonderful job explaining each cheese in detail while guests choose whatever they like. But when one table embarks on this dairy pilgrimage, the rest of the room slows to a gentle halt. It’s not a deal‑breaker, just something to be aware of if you’re hoping for consistently attentive pacing. Overall, Prato Borni is a beautifully curated experience: creative, delicious, and distinctly Swiss in all the right ways. A memorable evening, cheese‑trolley traffic jam included.
