Abbiamo pranzato qui oggi e siamo rimasti davvero molto soddisfatti. Abbiamo scelto il rösti, davvero ottimo: gustoso, ben preparato e assolutamente da provare. Complice una splendida giornata, abbiamo avuto il piacere di pranzare all’aperto, in un ambiente molto piacevole e rilassante, che ha reso ancora più bella la nostra esperienza. Anche il servizio è stato ottimo: personale gentile, sorridente e disponibile, sempre attento e cordiale. Un pranzo davvero piacevole sotto ogni aspetto. Restaurant Stadel was one of my first dining stops in Zermatt, and it turned out to be a great introduction to Swiss mountain food. I ate here on my first day in town, and having traditional cheese dishes at the base of the Matterhorn felt like the perfect way to start the trip. The fondue was excellent, rich and flavorful without feeling overly heavy, and the other cheese dishes were just as good. As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I spend a lot of time traveling, and I always enjoy finding restaurants that immediately make you feel connected to a place. This definitely felt like a Zermatt experience rather than just another meal. The location along Bahnhofstrasse makes it easy to reach while exploring town, and the atmosphere fits the mountain setting well. It felt comfortable and welcoming without being overly formal. The staff was professional, friendly, and easy to work with throughout the meal. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Funny enough, while working on the Maui Desire Romance Series, I’ve found that memorable travel moments are often built around simple things like a good meal in the right location. Enjoying fondue with views of the Matterhorn nearby definitely qualifies. A great place to enjoy classic Swiss food while visiting Zermatt.
