Ottimo ristorante, siamo stati ieri sera per cena. ottimi antipasti e primi, buona selezione di vini, personale attento e cordiale, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, da provare.

We went to this restaurant, recommended by friends, we had a parmigiana, risotto and a fried dish. The quality of the food is medium-high, the times are much less, a significant and excessive wait, considering the fact that we had ordered everything at the same time, including an appetizer and we are talking about 3 dishes in total. Furthermore, we found ourselves faced with an argument between a customer and the owners, a very inappropriate situation, I don't want to point the finger at the customer or the property not knowing the fact, but to see the owner or whoever come out screaming from the kitchen I find it an unprofessional gesture (whatever the reason for the argument). If the customer is a rude person (which is also not acceptable), you can't compete to see who shouts the loudest. POINT. And whoever reads these few lines will agree with me. The quality of the food is the basis of the dining experience but I, like many others, give great importance to the service. In this case the ownership focused exclusively on the event that occurred with the customer in question, without giving a damn about the other customers in the room. Prices a little above the average of other restaurants in Vieste. Considering the general experience, evaluating food, service (welcome, times, arguments), prices, etc.. the overall rating stops at 3 stars, or actually even 3 -. Good continuation. UPDATE--> from the height of his starred cuisine, the writer takes the liberty of indicating how much a customer should spend on average in a restaurant, without considering the multiple factors that may be involved in that choice. For the restaurateur in question, spending €59 for two in a restaurant is not much and therefore to guarantee an adequate margin the restaurant must increase the number of daily seats to the detriment of the quality of the service, truly absurd. I think that a restaurateur must also accept criticism, and the restaurateur in question just can't accept it, even going so far as to offend both the customer on site that evening (with shouts) and in the current review by calling me a goody-goody. I understand that not everyone has the character to be a restaurateur, and between these lines you will find the proof. Good continuation. If the customer is a rude… Our restaurant is family-run; our parents taught us that work is sacred, but above all that those who work must ALWAYS be respected. …If the customer is a rude… Our restaurant is family-run; our parents taught us that work is sacred, but above all that those who work must ALWAYS be respected. In recent months, when we talk about catering, the word exploitation of staff easily comes up; This is not the case in our business. The owners Enzo and his wife, with their children, even put in 20 consecutive hours of work to give you the highest quality in food and service. You want physical/mental tiredness, you want the heat, the stress due to the expenses at the end of the month (because let's talk bluntly Mr. Peruzzi alias Manusiempre on trip advisor, if all our customers ate like you did that evening, 59, €00 between us, we should change jobs), when a customer behaves like a rude person, trying to cheat you and not wanting to pay what he is owed, even us restaurant operators are allowed to lose patience. When a client seriously threatens your child, your blood, what do you do? Are you staying and watching? But what dryness of heart do you have? But what planet are you from? Enough with this story of the customer who is always right! And I remind you that the maitre d', like the kitchen chef or the dining room or kitchen commis, carry out a job, and as I wrote a few lines above, work is sacred and those who work must be RESPECTED! Mr. Peruzzi started the review by being a goody-goody, not wanting to judge the argument but then from the height of his culinary culture he also included the argument in the final judgement... Well I feel like telling you two things: make peace with your brain and next time you go to a restaurant order for two people and not one. Oh I forgot! considering the booking at peak time (9.45pm) on August 20th, therefore very high season, I give 1 star to your bill of €59.00, and if there was a bit of a wait, as you also wrote in the 'another review on trip advisor, the reason is because there are people who go to the restaurant to eat ONLY an appetizer of a "sort of parmigiana" divided into two, a fried dish and a risotto and nothing else, so we are the osteria al Duomo we are forced to make a few more covers to the detriment of the fluidity of the entire service. Now I hope that after my answer you don't feel offended Mr. Peruzzi, like me, was not disappointed with his fury towards my family/restaurant, both on Trip Advisor and on this platform because "whoever reads these lines will agree with me that if the customer is ruthless you can't compete to those who are more.” A greeting.More
