If Lebanon opened an embassy dedicated solely to food, this place would deserve diplomatic immunity. The menu doesn’t try to be clever or reinvent the wheel. Instead, it proudly serves everything you’d hope to find at a proper Lebanese table, and does it exceptionally well. The hummus? Quite simply, the best I’ve had in Geneva. Creamy, rich and dangerously addictive. The pastries vanish before you realize you’ve ordered them, the saouda is beautifully cooked, and the taouk is juicy enough to make you question every other chicken skewer you’ve ever eaten. In fact, I struggled to find anything that wasn’t genuinely delicious. I only missed the wider Lebanese desert options. Inside, the décor blends modern design with subtle Lebanese touches, but if the weather allows, grab a table outside. The lively street, buzzing bars and people-watching create the perfect backdrop, almost making you forget you’re in Geneva and not somewhere in Gemmayzeh. Service deserves its own standing ovation. The young waitress could probably teach a masterclass in hospitality. Friendly, energetic and effortlessly charming. Meanwhile, her more experienced colleague quietly keeps everything running with impressive attention to detail. Together, they’re the kind of team that makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. This isn’t about fancy gastronomy or artistic foam on tiny plates. It’s about authentic flavors, generous hospitality and leaving with a smile… and possibly an irrational craving for another bowl of hummus. Highly recommended for anyone looking for one of Geneva’s best Lebanese experiences. I’ll definitely be back, although I’m beginning to suspect the hummus has some sort of addictive ingredient.
