Exceptional food, but unacceptable hygiene practices regarding pets +39 Ristorante is an elegant establishment with incredible potential. The culinary experience is outstanding, featuring beautifully prepared dishes that showcase real quality. The spaghetti alle vongole and the spaghetti all'assassina were absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the dining experience was completely overshadowed by the management's approach to their pet-friendly policy. While I deeply respect the love for animals and have no issue with dogs being allowed inside, it is completely unacceptable for dogs to be permitted to sit on the same chairs as the guests, with their mouths resting on the dining tables. When a dog is allowed to sniff the table, drool on the tablecloth, or climb onto the seating, they inevitably leave behind saliva, mucus, hair, and even microscopic traces of feces. If a person touches these surfaces and then handles their food or touches their face, it opens the door to multiple routes of disease transmission. It is a real shame, as the restaurant has undeniable culinary merit and offers high-quality food. However, I simply cannot recommend this place as long as these unsanitary practices are permitted. A pet-friendly environment is wonderful, but it must be managed correctly with basic health and hygiene standards in mind.
