I had an incredible dining experience at 1818 Eat & Drink, which I found exploring the side streets of Zermatt and the music playing drew me in like a siren. The South American cuisine was a true delight, and it's easy to see why the restaurant was awarded 13 Gault Millau Points. The chef's creativity is evident in every bite, and it's clear they are regularly discovering and refining new meals. I recommend speaking to the chef himself to indulge in what inspires him. The menu is a fantastic journey through South America, from the spicy flavors of the Andes to the grilling traditions of Argentina , with each authentic taste feeling both refined and sophisticated. The use of a Josper Grill gave the dishes an amazing smoky flavor, and I especially enjoyed the succulent meats and perfectly grilled vegetables. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and flavorful meal as an interlude from the local offers yet the interior design and atmosphere still remains as swanky as Switzerland .
