Questo ristorante è un vero gioiello, estremamente accogliente e curato in ogni dettaglio. ogni piatto è un’esplosione di sapori, preparato con maestria e ingredienti di altissima qualità. Loose translation of Zum Ochsen.. Welcome to the Ox.. It's a cute rustic restaurant with your typical swiss cuisine and yes you better allow some time for dinning and wine, give yourself 2hrs plus. As we all know Ox's are slow and steady. I like the setting but the food was alright given the rather expensive experience. It's your typical meat menu and lacks greens for my taste. I tried their tartar and the schnitzel. The tarter was well rounded and the bread heavenly. But the schnitzel was rather boring tasting and lacked in presentation and flavor. The risotto as a side dish worked, creamy but still a touch of bite. Service was very attentive. I think this place could go far but really should deviate from their meat and potato approach and work with some more exciting ingredients. That's my personal opinion. Quality to price is out of whack even for swiss restaurant prices. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 100+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
