After having postponed the opening, here it is finally: IL NIDO-Locanda Pascoliana. What does the name indicate; a restaurant, but also some rooms on the upper floor: it resembles the old system of the ancient inns. Let's come to the restaurant: I wanted to try it, seeing as it has been completely renovated, with a complete change of management, it aims for an elegant level of high quality without leaving out something rustic on the outside, reminiscent of Romagna. Reservation recommended even if the place was not full. External veranda for the summer and some internal rooms on the ground floor, elegant, well furnished but above all private, where you can talk without shouting. On the upper floor it is possible to directly reserve rooms and tables of different capacities also for company dinners. Room service still in progress with staff not all in uniform, strange for that type of environment, the most critical point given that they have to introduce themselves to the customer. And some etiquette mistakes. Simple mise en place, designed with their symbol on nice large and comfortable tables (I wouldn't say the same for the external ones). Good menu with prices appropriate to the level, especially the wine room where they have the bottles on display, you can choose your favorite one. No wine service. Right timing for the kitchen team, young chef, neat, clean dishes, beautiful presentation, some doubts and functionality of the dishes (understood as ceramics) compared to the cutlery. I would like to point out that some dishes did not arrive together for the diners at the table. Kitchen or dining room error? The flavors are well matched, the cooking is right and the products are said to be selected, the bread is good.. A nice place which, if it improves, if managed well, can aim for quality and satisfied customers. Wheelchair accessibility: On the ground floor you can enter the room and sit comfortably, the tables are spaced far apart in the summer. On the porch some accessible positions. In these places it is better to notify in advance.
