Edificio storico nel centro antico ( altstadt)di Chur. Era la sede di una corporazione medioevale ed ne ha mantenuto lo stile.
Si raggiunge solo a piedi.
Io ci sono stato a cena, non in albergo e quindi la mia valutazione è rivolta al ristorante che è di ottima qualità.
Si cena al piano superiore, dove l'atmosfera è elegante e in un contesto romantico.
Il menù propone molte specialità locali legate alla tradizione, con una discreta carta dei vini. Ho mangiato molto bene e penso sia uno dei migliori ristoranti di Chur.

I booked this hotel for my father from Aug 6th - Aug 12th (with two nights cancelled as we stayed in another hotel outside of Chur). Everything from the reception staff, to the breakfast buffet staff and all other staff we encountered were amazing. For what we paid, we got everything and more than we expected. The location was perfect. Train station was 5 mins by walk, the hotel itself was directly in the Old Town district, and there were so many restaurants, cafe's and bars within 1-2 minutes walk from the hotel. When we needed spare pillows or amenities, the staff obliged and were very friendly. As for the two nights we cancelled – we were shocked that we didn't have to pay for the existing nights my dad stayed, and simply paid at the end of our stay. Trust is what this hotel thrives on, and it was a pleasant surprise to say the least. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to visit Chur to stay at this hotel. Small picky note on our end: - Pillows could be slightly more plump, but this was not an issue for my dad as he doubled up on pillows. Other than that, our stay was made even more pleasant by staying here and the owners were always receptive via email or reception when needed. Danke!!!!

classy (Escoffier disciple) food, expertly served, at reasonable prices for Switzerland (170 CHF for two) in atmospheric old hotel restaurant. Only one gripe- tiresome background music (I think a station called SwissPop radio). We were the only diners and asked for it to be switched to something more appropriate, but no.
